The personal information you provide The Needle if you choose to register, will be information such as your name, email address, date of birth and telephone numbers. Your personal information within The Needle also may include a photograph, your video responses to an interview you have been invited to complete, your completed final video interview, as well as documents that you choose to upload while using The Needle. An example of this being a CV.

Your responsibilities

Our Terms of Use stipulate your responsibilities in respect of use of this website. We reiterate that you are responsible for keeping your log-in details (user name and password) confidential and we ask you not to share them with anyone. You are also responsible for granting and revoking access to your personal information and The Needle cannot accept any responsibility for the use by third parties of any personal information contained in your profile once you have granted access to it, including if you have disclosed your log-in details to a third party. You are also responsible for keeping the information in your profile accurate and up to date.

How The Needle uses your personal information

The Needle’s clients are governed by our Terms of Use. Their prime focus is to use The Needle to capture video interviews of people for the purposes of assessment.  They use the video interview management tools available to invite you to interview, view your video interviews, assess the video interviews and share them with relevant, authorised colleagues to help them assess your responses further.

The Needle also uses your personal information for administration purposes, for example to contact you if you require technical assistance when setting up your video interview, or if you need advice and guidance about any part of the process.  We may also analyse your personal information to understand how better to service both you and our clients, as well as survey you about our performance. We do not collect any other personal information through the website except as described above, nor do we use personal information collected through the website for any other purposes. We will handle your personal information fairly and lawfully, and in accordance with data protection laws.
